He’s like a disease. He crawls beneath your skin leaving small pieces of his exoskeleton. He invades the space where you saved your favorite wishes, dreams you return to when the nightmares take control. He doesn't forgive you for those thoughts you hide from the world because they might judge you for feeling a little too much. He feasts on your touch. His teeth sink deep into your flesh, and you can’t shake him off. even if you sit on one of those carnival rides until you hurl, you can’t shake him off. He will leave behind the marks where he entered and left your body shaking on the earthen floor. you are weak and you are nothing.
