some nights I go to bed with a heavy heart; drowned in thoughts of utter disgust I can't bare to take a peek at the mirror, for all I see is nothing but dust some mornings I awake fresh and confident, silky hair and sparkly eyes; the day is mine. with my chin raised and chest stuck out, I grace the place with my smile ablaze I... feel beautiful. hold on, the night draws and the day passes I'm back to where I am so tell me, who am I? I am both; the day and the night but may my nights turn to days and may my tears be extinct for I, am coming Home. I am beautiful. – 1.9.14

It's been forever since I last wrote, so I'm not feeling confident at all. But this poem exemplifies how I am feeling right now; insecure and inadequate. But I am His child, and I was never made to feel this way.
