Slowly fades today
lost in chronicles of time
only memories

grey ashes of yesterday
haunting me with pain

tomorrow so futile seems
stabbing me with fears

longing  brokenly for hope
and lost yesterdays

hoping God may somehow blend
morrow with sweet yesterday

Bittersweet and beautiful. . . A yearning for more time in the past with those you loved; a lighter time when hope seemed more reassuring, and at least settling for a blend of yesterday with tomorrow. . . I lovely concept. I really enjoyed reading this poem.

I just now read pain in Tim's work, and here too, a family in grief! May God give you the strength to overcome this loss of your's, I sincerely pray.
