Your wheels kept rolling though your engine was dead. You're a tragedy waiting to happen. There's many ways to escape a foreseen crisis. I didn't have to be an engineer. Eventually it'll all come to a stop. My advice to you, don't invite a passenger for the final ride. They won't share your hell they'll be engulfed by it.
