In the distance I could hear her roaring I could hear the rolling of the clouds She is a force of nature She lifted me up, twisted me around she blew me away She took me like a storm when first she walked in Her sweet warm kisses tasted like spring But she refused to let the sunshine all the way in and now she’s gone, gone, gone like the wind I tried following her traces of debris and broken glass I found my heart amongst the rubble bruised, battered, beating fast She took me like a storm when first she walked in I miss the way she used to brush up against my skin Her sweet warm kisses sent me into a spin before she turned, and went like the wind

Like The Wind
