I wish I could hold you, tell you everything's alright But I cannot promise you no rain in this time of drought. The scrapes and bruises on your legs Mirror those of mine I swear to you my friend, You are not alone! What I can do is take your hand And sit with you a while I can promise you adventure! A time to laugh and time to cry. For where there comes rain comes rainbows And where there is darkness there is light There is something in you greater than this fight So take my hand and we will defy Every raindrop and teardrop in the sky Together all our broken pieces slot together As courage takes over, and the sun comes out.

After The Rain
I wish I could hold you, tell you everything's alright But I cannot promise you no rain in this time of drought. The scrapes and bruises on your legs Mirror those of mine I swear to you my friend, You are not alone! What I can do is take your hand And sit with you a while I can promise you adventure! A time to laugh and time to cry. For where there comes rain comes rainbows And where there is darkness there is light There is something in you greater than this fight So take my hand and we will defy Every raindrop and teardrop in the sky Together all our broken pieces slot together As courage takes over, and the sun comes out.
