Lying in a manger His bed a bail of hay A special gift sent to our earth Our very first Christmas day King's travelled to his stable On camel's from afar Bringing with them lavish gifts And guided by a star Angel's sang a heavenly chorus Telling us of his birth A very special baby A saviour of this earth He came to spread god's message To save us from our sin This world would be a duller place If god never sent us him So as we open up our presents Say a silent prayer Thank god for the world we have And for that baby he sent with care

Saviour's Day
Lying in a manger His bed a bail of hay A special gift sent to our earth Our very first Christmas day King's travelled to his stable On camel's from afar Bringing with them lavish gifts And guided by a star Angel's sang a heavenly chorus Telling us of his birth A very special baby A saviour of this earth He came to spread god's message To save us from our sin This world would be a duller place If god never sent us him So as we open up our presents Say a silent prayer Thank god for the world we have And for that baby he sent with care
