I like to make myself believe that you're my girl. The truth is far too painful. You never call or even text anymore and your one word replies are few and far between. You're always busy with work, school or friends and never want to spend any time with me. It's tiring, I must agree, but the truth is devastating. I fear what becomes of me when I accept that you have not been mine for quite a while. I like to make myself believe that you're my girl and I know I'll never be able to see you again. Can't you see? I need to believe in something. I chose you long ago... Written By: Andrew D. Robertson
