You tell me you love me, but you refuse to acknowledge me in front of other people. Acting as if my presence offends the greater good of the hero which you think you are. I have no place with you in the public eye, even if it was just a glimpse of truth of the people that live inside these capes. I am not asking for us to reveal our identities, but rather for us to hide as little truth about them as possible. Yet we keep on hiding behind these masks. Pretending there isn't love burning underneath, and acting like we can be everyone's hero.
