tripping over the edge scratching vinyl low bass lines steady beat plush carpeted floor to my right plaster beneath my feet drywall landing pad eat words truth digested no meaningful inward journey cold shuddering empty room no food fridge empty for days trapped ceiling racing collision course with floor jump into desk latent in my cupboard no awakening up for thirty hours weeping in frustration no food ecstatic with mediocrity Yes! Yes! follow the ant it knows primeval secrets internal truths shopping lists a thousand regrets a thousand ****** clamoring rooftop puddles sweet nectarine sky tangerine tomorrows
