What’s this madness on the news? What’s this sadness? I’m confused! A child so loved! Children so dear All of them lost, lost in this fear. How can one man create such pain? To those so innocent, there was no restrain Now families fall upon their knees Calling for Help, “Lord help us Please!” The children now rest in heaven above In the arms of their Savior and His love The families below lay in pain untold Leaving them feeling the ultimate cold So let them feel your love tonight For no family deserves to feel this fright From A loved one lost, much too young Before life’s spring had truly sprung So together we come to their aid To try and ease so much, oh so much pain We’ll shed our tears, we’ll say our prayers Knowing even time may not repair It’s an act of sadness this is true And an act that can truly unravel you So as a nation we say stay strong. You’re in our hearts where you belong!
