life is just a game. our bodies long for new everything, but our soul stands. you held me as if I was fragile. you protected me when I was vulnerable. you don't know what lies ahead, but you tell me you want me to be a part of it; a part of whatever lies beyond the great horizon. a part of the after life. a part of this life. you just kept telling me to watch out for what lies ahead.

what lies ahead
life is just a game. our bodies long for new everything, but our soul stands. you held me as if I was fragile. you protected me when I was vulnerable. you don't know what lies ahead, but you tell me you want me to be a part of it; a part of whatever lies beyond the great horizon. a part of the after life. a part of this life. you just kept telling me to watch out for what lies ahead.
