During the earliest hour While the house sets Light peeks through my brothers closed door If you put one ear to his door And listen carefully you can hear Him sing along to Frank Sinatra Soft and off key Using improvised lyrics like People do to fill in those gaps While it's this early And absence is a pleasure Sing like nobody is listening

Wouldn't bother a deaf kid
During the earliest hour While the house sets Light peeks through my brothers closed door If you put one ear to his door And listen carefully you can hear Him sing along to Frank Sinatra Soft and off key Using improvised lyrics like People do to fill in those gaps While it's this early And absence is a pleasure Sing like nobody is listening
