It's a cold, cold morning and the coffee isn't helping On the bed amongst tangled sheets is where we left our happiness The records are still playing to a memory of a party And your eyes are haunting as you give me a smile I'll show up one day when you least expect it Silently I pray you'll wait Just don't give up on me babe It's a cold, cold morning and the coffee didn't help I won't let us die So take a walk with me and let the smoke revive us
