I loved the feel of your name on my tongue: C-A-R-L-A. Rolling out of my chest, my lungs Long for it. C-A-R-L-A. Falling out of my teeth, leaving my mouth, My warm breath carries it away from the bleeding heart. C-A-R-L-A. My fingers type your name ashamed. They will never feel it my skin again. The wind floats it from my sight, As you take her hand. C-A-R-L-A.
