You seem like something incarnate Something like the ocean It loves, weeps, kisses the shore It defies all attempts At being captured with words And rejects all lyrical shackles A poet’s only shortcoming No matter what I can say about you There is always that which I can’t You are the ocean and I am your shore.

The Ocean And The Shore.
You seem like something incarnate Something like the ocean It loves, weeps, kisses the shore It defies all attempts At being captured with words And rejects all lyrical shackles A poet’s only shortcoming No matter what I can say about you There is always that which I can’t You are the ocean and I am your shore.
