Your leaves come and go Their colors so unique In the winter they do not show Your branches can be oblique Sometimes I come to you to think Though you have no brain your filled with knowledge You absorb water like a tasty drink You're living but cannot acknowledge It's strange to me how close we can be Without ever exchanging a word We do not talk but communicate to a certain degree You develop and learn like a young bird You grow, you breath, you're a tree
