One day you'll wake
up, blinds shut,
closet doors swinging
open and your
lavender-scented candles
have fallen on the
floor and you sit there,
you realize how alone
you are. You close
your eyes, wishing you
were someone else
in a snap but you
broke into tears because
you knew for a fact that
things don't work that way.
