No one was ever there. In that old room below the frames Of madness, enticing as it was A curiosity instilling sensation Perhaps mental consternation. No one was ever there. In that old room below the frames Of a mind blowing dilemma That twists and turns anxiety Into a frightening novelty No one was ever there. In that old room below the frames Of a child seeking company The one entitlement to their name Only to play in tormenting flames No one was ever there. In that old room below the frames Neither presence nor concept Neither essence Perhaps... Darkness.
