You never noticed my achievements You always said it wasn't enough I should have realized long before You were to ashamed to say it You're ashamed I am your daughter You're ashamed you kept me with you You wish today after 14 years that I would just disappear You made me lose my confidence You made me lose my self-respect You stripped me down to nothing Like a military solider I've tried so hard to impress you I'm breaking down to bits Just one look of pride from you That would make you for everything
