I notice that blue sweater before I even notice you.
your eyes are the metaphor to an April sunrise,
observant and mysterious.
as the thoughts of self-consciousness and "what do you see when you see me" often replay in my head over and over, poisoning my thoughts, unabling me to use my mind,
you:
lose my train of thought,
stare at me a lot,
and give me signals
I can't grasp.
you make me
feel everything and nothing
at the same time and I don't know why
but I love when you notice and hate
when you stare and and and
it's hard to put you into words
because out of all the words
I find in the dictionary
I can't find any to properly put you
in a sentence.
I can't describe you
and I don't know why
and it annoys me;
you annoy me
but you know,
annoyance doesn't allow people
the satisfaction of forgetting and
maybe that's why you're always in my mind.
