I wish I had mugged up Or leafed through the pages At least once or twice When my fancy was bent upon Watching hollow beings Only to tickle The bone And made no beeline For clobbering the canvas I would not cast my eyes around To get a bonus under the vigilant roof Nor would i receive chiding At the cost of one precious minute For sure i would come out of the hall Smiling with much contentment And be the chief guest at the gate To be welcomed with open arms And champion the cause of parents

I Wish I'd Mugged Up
