I'm sitting by the river Hands clenched I look down at my hands Seeing the scares of the stones The wrinkles of time But when I look closer All I see is sorrow So I open my hands Watch the pebble fall To rest upon all the others I lay back against the shore And look up at the sky Seeing all the stars And realizing that The world is bigger Then this little river.

Pebble
I'm sitting by the river Hands clenched I look down at my hands Seeing the scares of the stones The wrinkles of time But when I look closer All I see is sorrow So I open my hands Watch the pebble fall To rest upon all the others I lay back against the shore And look up at the sky Seeing all the stars And realizing that The world is bigger Then this little river.
Revised to be a little better I hope.
