These nightmares are reminders of who controlled you But the past can no longer hurt when I hold you To sleep, resting peacefully was your highest goal And safety, the gateway, you honored as my role … … … … But all of this would soon be changed. My entire life you had rearranged. You drove me out, fearing all your scars, Believed you can’t change who they said you are. So set it off, set sail and the ship is gone. Never will you rise above this. Never coming Home. Bury all you knew, leave behind these withering bones. This skeleton will await its time to lay to rest alone… … … … … Hate me now, in every possible way. Hate me to your dying day. Hate me, even if it kills me, Hate me ever more, to love me away…
