Please paint the walls of this empty room That I have built up just for you Plaster these halls with that bright sky blue That I see each time my eyes rest on you Splatter the walls with that light pastel pink That I see you breathe out each time you speak Drown them with that somber maroon That fills my head when you leave the room And douse it in the deep dark rouge That spellbinds me when you say "I love you"

The Walls of This Room
Please paint the walls of this empty room That I have built up just for you Plaster these halls with that bright sky blue That I see each time my eyes rest on you Splatter the walls with that light pastel pink That I see you breathe out each time you speak Drown them with that somber maroon That fills my head when you leave the room And douse it in the deep dark rouge That spellbinds me when you say "I love you"
