Walking along the road You hear of a mischief made abroad Suddenly, everything changes The return of vengeance and lingering grudges You ask "what I heard of, is a fearful thing" I answer "what you hear of, happens once in a life's ring" Still you fear, you cower, you run You flee, you hide, to be shun Poor fellow, was he, to believe in bad lucks Poor fellow, was he, to jump in with the ducks At every corner, lied a shadow for him In the end, he lined in with them
