It's never the end of the world,
at least,
not until the big-lady sings.
Things could always be worse.
I imagine how some people felt
who were awakened in the wee hours,
had their families loaded onto trains
for the overland journey
to those nasty oven-camps,
never to be seen again.
We've put people on the moon.
So I'm just gonna take one day at a time
& pray an asteroid doesn't hit us.
Now that would really ruin one's day.

Our pain is our own, we can deal with it.
