Sleep is needed to survive
Yet when I don't sleep
When I can't shut my eyes
I keep going
Step by step
Thought by thought
Blink by blink
Still awake
Eyes wide open
Alive
No tiredness
By that point
Well, sleep is not an option
It may be needed,
But it is not going to happen
So, I stay awake
While the rest of the world is asleep
I am awake
And I feel alive
