My song of winter I sing in a sad minor A song of snowflakes And howling winds A song of icy ponds And of icicles Slick with frozen rain A song of sleeping flowers And sleeping animals I sung about sleeping feline kitties On a rug before the blazing fire In the hearth I sung about snowdrops Hidden 'neath the blanket of snow I sung about the pine needles That winter fairies play Just like they play their harps Such a melodious song they play I sung about you And I sung about How I can imagine us Ice-skating on those frozen ponds I sung about frosty dews Sprinkled on the hidden grass Buried beneath the snow A blanket oh, so cold My song of winter I sung to the fairies I sung to them Just what I am singing To you Right now My song of winter I sang Until winter Glided away ~Marian~
