Thy eyes are big and golden
Thy tail twitchest with delight

With pride thou washest thy paws
You're a gem--a sparkling jade
Fairer than the other feline Queens and princesses
And I have loved thee
Ever since thou first opened those golden eyes
I loved thee ever since thou wert born
