To my girl with the Christmas eyes, with heavy heart I severed ties, and hoped perhaps to find within, a chance to begin again, my life without a compromise. In time you will learn to despise, the simplest fact, that true love dies. An you will think of all that's been, My girl with the Christmas eyes. Through broken spirits must arise, a better you from sorrows guise. For the words that are writ herein, are filled with care, wracked by sin, I stole your heart, I realize, My girl with the Christmas eyes.
