Frozen fragments Icily dispersed As beads that necklace The moon. The gleam Of light reflected Tinting The lacy ring With smudge-faded Rainbow colors. "Beautiful", they all say. But poor Luna, Who shows up every night. Only considered wonderful, Because of a mere circle of light.

There was a ring around the moon tonight.
