In an age of plastic-alternatives,
brain implants & piercings,
augmentation & body building,
we can alter our states of being.
Little pills can fix headaches,
stop viral infections,
make our wood get harder,
even clean up bouts of acne.
We can paint our faces,
decorate our eyes,
replace body parts,
exchange them too.
But if we knew the cure,
could figure out the genetic code,
had the solution for stupidity,
we could change the universe.
