there was little hare and he just long to be
a shining knight in armour back in history
riding in a joust with a big long lance
riding on his steed as it began to prance
then a fight with swords clashing in the sun
this would be a challenge and give him lots of fun
sitting round the table like proper knight
with a feather in his hat very big and bright
then he would go to sleep in a great big tent
and think about his day and how his day was spent
