Two powerfully beautiful lines that describe a searing dichotomy faced each year be millions.  Do I put the life of another I've never met before mine , or do I do what's best for me?  No right answer for all, but the beautifully compressed poem, like a seed, is pregnant with un-foretold karmic thought possibilities.   Seven short lines that stop you in your tracks.  That's the power of poetry at its finest. :-)
