She was a girl. Excited to turn 15. Excited to be a year older. Excited to be treated like an adult. Ironically, She never did turn 15. She will never be a year older. She will never see light, for she was filled with darkness. She gently picked up the pills, by her bedside table. One by one she slowly put them in her mouth. Tightly, she squeezed her eyes shut. and swallowed. She opened her eyes again. Picked up a picture of her mother, where the pills once sat, and whispered, goodbye.
