"As we are". Tempted, tried, and crucified "As we are". Not reliant on divine providence, "As we are". Not happy and full of peace, but broken, "As we are". A sacrifice, so we may enter His presence "As we are". So we may be righteous, blameless, pure As He is.

"As We Are"
"As we are". Tempted, tried, and crucified "As we are". Not reliant on divine providence, "As we are". Not happy and full of peace, but broken, "As we are". A sacrifice, so we may enter His presence "As we are". So we may be righteous, blameless, pure As He is.
Hebrews 4:15. "broken" in line six does not refer to the brokenness, sinful nature, of humanity; rather, it refers to the sorrowful desire to avoid God's wrath. Jesus demonstrates this in Mark 14:34-36. I will continue to add to this poem.
