I know in some of the writings that I have posted about my wife, I speak of her in the present tense.
I've read, sometimes this can be helpful somehow.
To talk about a lost loved one, not in the past, but the here and now.
But so unfortunately, about a year ago she was taken from me, taken from life.
I have to keep moving forward, in spite of the strife.
Seems it just has to be that way.
My resilience and attitude could change any given day.
On the roller coaster of grief, it's all part of the ride.
You gotta continue to put one foot in front of the other,
And ride that hard, narrow line.
