What an honor, These men All dolled up In roses Just So you Can pick them How brave It is, For those boys To leave This place So you Can go Everyone chants, In sync Their Heartbeats Stowed away Inside Their hats But I disagree, It’s less brave Than it is devastating. The chanting people Stop, They forget Again Then They clap For the boy Who played taps.

We all clap for the boy who played taps
What an honor, These men All dolled up In roses Just So you Can pick them How brave It is, For those boys To leave This place So you Can go Everyone chants, In sync Their Heartbeats Stowed away Inside Their hats But I disagree, It’s less brave Than it is devastating. The chanting people Stop, They forget Again Then They clap For the boy Who played taps.
