Broken glass path and I forgot my shoes The pain isn't so bad, lose enough blood And you start to go numb. It's a learned response to keep walking It's a choice to stomp down. But there's a monster chasing me I can feel its breath when I whine One day it will catch me And those teeth will tear the fibers of muscle And being So I walk on and hope the blood attracts A smelling savior with gauze for the cracks.
