The first blink in the dew of your eyes, An awakening in the anatomy of my fate. The gaze through your lashes rends my shield, Devour me within your sclera, My heaven. I will absorb the rain; I will become your shelter. My soul baptized, but my bones weaken. My flesh burns, and cures within your salt ocean. Dissolve me in you, let me be cremated, An embrace of blood; our flesh reborn. Take me whole and true, Before the night falls like autumn. I'm an urban collector of leaves; I would dive into the ocean for drifting remnants. If I drown drinking tears, I may become immortal. Take me to the silver city when night falls; when your wings turn divine, illuminate my darkness; embrace me with the unknown. My soulless vessel bears your epitaph, it will become your tomb.
