You who so envelope that gooeyness Your form so eager to enter my orifice And so hard I’ve worked and long I’ve waited That no more can I deny my heart of bliss My teeth sink deeply into your defined triangle Your body ajar, set to loosely dangle As I look near and far to who might steal For if they made a twitch I would surely strangle A single tear rolls down as I chew And it lingers as though set in a morning dew For the feeling of now has never been surpassed And will be felt again by only a lucky few For the magic of the cheese combined tortilla only the result of immaculate conception or idea Has filled me with so much joy and delight That I can seldom believe it is only a quesadilla

A poem about a quesadilla
