What is a hero?
Is it something you’re born with
or something you die as?
Or perhaps something in-between?
Something you have to choose
for yourself?
An act of bravery
when you could despair
An act of curiosity
when you could turn away
An act of sacrifice
when nothing else matters
But to be the one
who saves
instead of being safe.
A hero is someone.
And everyone
can be heroic
