Dumapo kang malapit

Sa pag-asa kakapit.
Translation:
Common grass yellow butterfly
Alighted quite near to me
As the winds blew ruthlessly
Helpless, stay hoping, we'll be.
Note: "A diona is a traditional indigenous Philippine poetic form, consisting of 3 rhyming lines with exactly 7 syllables each line."
I tried to maintain the form when I attempted to translate what I've written in Tagalog.
