CONTEMPLATING

I was BAPTIZED
In holy water

EASILY breathe
IN SEQUENCE
My life had come
FULL circle
The burdens of life
Sins that CARRIED
The heaviest of weight
Weighed me down
SMASHED me like
A pancake
Finally released
That day
I truly came ALIVE
A NEW man
A knight in SHINING armor
There’s a time
For everything
Everything has its place
Finally my
Time had come
WHETHER
We SEE it or NOT
A walking miracle
Breaths of life
And death
Everlasting life
All the things
I’ll never UNDERSTAND
I’ve had enough trouble
Comprehending
It ALL
MOST of my life
The wonders that await
Not of this world
A true BELIEVER
I’ve WITNESSED
It I HAVE first hand
EXPERIENCE
His true greatness
And what a believer

AFTERLIFE
