I have words to share To my younger self He wouldn't want to hear What my mouth bears The rocks on my shoulders Get heavier by growth It's like the more I see My eyes start to bleed The colour of my tears Are not the same ones you know Yours came to teach responsibility Mine came from connection disability The cousins you danced in the rain with Are tackling life to achieve their goals And the people you loved deep Are now pictures floating towards a waterfall I am still stuck where you left me Asking If maybe I was wrong To memorise all your dreams Because this is not what you envisioned
