Let's build a future, clear and bright, Where water flows, a guiding light. For health of all, both young and old, A story of life, bravely told. Our crops need rain, the earth needs drink, So life can thrive, upon the brink. The rivers run, the oceans sigh, Their health is ours, beneath the sky. We need strong pipes, and careful hands, To save the water, across the lands. To mend the leaks, and stop the waste, With every drop, we must make haste. Let all the people, join the call, To guard this gift, for one and all. With open hearts, and minds so keen, To keep our waters, pure and clean. The rules we make, the laws we write, Must serve the water, day and night. To stop the floods, to fight the blight, And bring forth safety, with all our might. For future children, yet to be, Let water be, for them to see. Enough to drink, enough to grow, A steady stream, a gentle flow. It's not a gift that knows no end, But one we nurture, and defend. Our needs are great, the earth is frail, Let's manage wisely, lest we fail.
