I knew you before we met Remember me, I never left Innocent eyes, of an old soul Peaceful placidity, quiet control Hidden turmoil, deep within Curve of your face, a wistful grin Insight abounds, grasping for truth Wrapped in wisdom, beyond your youth A flower blooms, iridescent glow Miles apart, must let you go Journey’s begun, memories remain Can’t turn back the clock, or stop the rain
