Why punish me with power, Why punish me with pain, I know I am replaceable, Don't have to remind me again and again. Why destroy me with silence, Why destroy me with gaze I know I am replaceable, Don't have to **** me again and again. Why break me with actions, Why break me with decisions, I know I am replaceable, Don't have to remind me again and again. Why push me with shame, Why push me with guilt, I know I am replaceable, Don't have to **** me again and again. Why hate me with desire, Why hate me with despair, I know I am replaceable, Don't have to remind me again and again. Why love me with regret, Why love me with fear, I know I am so replaceable, but all I ever did was try to be the name you would smile for, cry for, die for, line for, smile with, cry with, die with, live with. So, don't have to **** me again and again.

Loved With Regret
This poem speaks about the quiet pain of feeling emotionally replaceable to someone you deeply loved. It explores how power, silence, guilt, regret, and distance can slowly destroy a person more than direct hatred ever could. Despite giving everything love, loyalty, emotions, and identity, the speaker is left feeling unseen and repeatedly wounded. The repetition of “again and again” reflects the endless cycle of emotional hurt caused not by strangers, but by someone once cherished deeply.
