Sometimes I miss paying for two. I miss you, do you do too? Last I looked back, You were there with your hand holding out for me to hold, I held it, and I didn't let go. Everything else is pretty much a blur, But you remember it all, I was the foolish one, pretty much dumb. I don't recall what exactly happened, but after I woke up, everything was numb. My hand was empty, but the weight was still there Waited for you to see me, at your favourite zoo, But, sometimes, I miss paying for two. I'm seeing the world, when mine is seeing a face, You clearly left, without leaving a trace. I'm forgetting the way you'd talk, I'm forgetting the way you'd walk, I'm forgetting your angry huffs, The way you'd jump when you got a hiccup, The way you'd tickle me when I felt low, The way you'd see me when I felt unknown. You gave me the most memories, now you're becoming one, I need your help, but you're now truly the moon. I passed by your favourite cafe, Another hand in mine, But my head recalled to the way you'd hold mine. I ran, really far, But all I approached, was the shadow of your car. You seemed happy, You seemed hallowed, So I left, my hand sole, finding who? That's when I truly realized, I miss paying for two.
